Hybrid Yoga Beginner’s Courses

Our beginers courses now happen again in the studio with a safe distance and as well at the same time online, yay!

Do you want to start practicing Yoga? We designed these 6-10-weeks Beginner’s Courses specifically for Yoga “newbies”.

Please note, our Beginner’s Courses are not open classes. After prior registration, you can attend all 10 units of the course.

All our courses and classes are now hybrid, online and in the studio. We start slowly with 3 beginners courses, more are planned! If your course from the beginning of the year is not finished yet, we will contact you personally to make it up, thanks for your patience in the meantime!

Which Level do I choose?

Level 1: You don’t need prior knowledge to attend this progressive course. We lead you into Yoga, step by step. Each week focuses on a specific group of asanas (physical postures), a special topic of the Yoga philosophy, meditation, and breathing techniques. After ten weeks, you may be equipped with some basic tools to begin your own home practice.

Level 2: We suggest visiting our Beginner Level 2 courses  after your Level 1. This course is especially for those who have already attended a Beginner’s Course, and want to deepen their practice.

Level 3: This course is for anyone who has finished Level 2. Also those who have a regular practice and prefer Yoga in smaller groups are welcome.

Participants: The courses are limited to 16 participants, so we ensure to give attention to each student individually.

How long and when? 10 weeks, once a week (except on public holidays)

Costs: €160 for L1; €180 for L2; €200 with a Senior Instructor, €220 for Level 3

Q & A for Beginners

  • Can I do a trial for the course/studio before I sign up?

    Yes, you can! You can try another Beginner's Course for a drop-in rate of €17 (choose the course in the online schedule and send us an email to info@baliyoga.wien)

    You can also take a class for €5 for one time. For this option we recommend basic or back lessons.

  • What do I do if I miss a class?

    You can make up up to two missed lessons in L1 and L2 either in another Beginner's Course, in a basic or back (Rücken) practice according to our timetable (within 12 weeks from the beginning of the course). For the extra administration we charge a €5 admin fee.

    At level 3 you may make up 2 classes of your choice without charge.

  • What do I do after and during the course?

    After the Level 1 Beginner's Course, we recommend to take Level 2 to deepen your practice and to learn more about all aspects of yoga.

    We also extend a special trial offer: You can attend as many lessons as possible (we recommend: Basic Hatha & Basic Vinyasa, Back(Rücken) Practice, Yoga for Women or Yin Yoga Practice) in 30 days for just €40.

    You may also use this trial offer during your course as an additional practice. After this we have another offer for you: Your first monthly card or 10 class pass is reduced.
